MALPE: The International Beach Wine Festival was hosted by the Udupi District Administration, the Horticulture Department, and the Malpe Development Committee in collaboration with the Karnataka Wine Board from January 18 to 20 in Malpe. The festival was open to students and locals alike, as well as people of all age groups. The main aim of the festival was to develop the culture of wine tasting in India, where it has not established itself yet. The festival showcased over 150 brands of wine.
