Manipal: The organising committee of Revels 2012, Manipal Institute of Technology’s (MIT) cultural fest, in association with Volunteer Service Organisation (VSO) of Manipal University, organised the ‘Green Run Marathon’ on March 25. Eighty students from various colleges competed in the event. It was conducted to create awareness about the environment as well as to publicise the theme of Revels 2012 (Go Green). The participants ran a distance of around 4.1 km starting from Kamath Circle (KC) and back, passing the .edu building, Marena, and main entrance of MIT.
